Taiz Islamic Help in collaboration with UK Islamic Mission has implemented 30 cows/bulls qurbani in Yemen 1440 – Taiz governorate which resulted in distribution of meat packs to 1,100 families that befitted more than 8,500 vulnerable people. Also, 900 cooked lunch meals were distributed to 300 vulnerable families live in the IDPs camp during Eid Aldha in Al-Turbah City in Taiz Governorate. Children of the IDPs camp were engaged with recreational activities were Eid gifts and distributed to them to make it joyful Eid and mitigate the psychological impact of the displacement.
For some people this was the only time of the year they were be able to enjoy a meal with meat and celebrate Eid since their displacement two years ago.
